Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is a racing game that's essentially a pared down edition so you can focus on nothing but racing. Rather than making players pay close attention to a variety of settings and customization options, Apex has stripped this all down so they can simply get behind a virtual wheel and drive.
Players can simply start up the game and race right away. More than likely, they'll be blown away by the graphics engine the first time they get into the action.
That being said, those who are looking for a more complete experience will be able to select from a small collection of tracks and vehicles. While the defaults are quite good, there's no reason you won't want to eventually explore these after you've mastered the core version of the game.
The addition of a dynamic mode makes Apex that much more interesting. This system adjusts the graphics so you can be sure that you always have a constant frame rate. If you've occasionally found that racing games eventually lose some of their speed as a result of your graphics adapter, then this is an excellent choice for you.
Apex also comes with a pretty polished AI, so you won't have to worry too much about the computer drivers relying on cheating. They'll instead be able to actually outmaneuver you at least relatively fairly, so you'll have a decent challenge as you learn each individual track.
Eventually, you'll get to a point where you can dominate each track, so you'll then be able to turn up the AI's abilities and enjoy an even greater racing challenge that will take you some time to master.
